Meet Rebecca

Rebecca Doula

Holistic postpartum support and lactation Counseling

I am a Postpartum Doula and Certified Lactation Counselor that has been supporting postpartum families in a doula capacity for over seven years both locally and internationally.

I truly consider this work a calling and love every family I serve deeply. I became a doula in 2014 when my niece was born and I observed first hand the challenges of infant feeding and adapting to new life in the postpartum home. Within 6 months I quit my job as a Marketing Director and embarked on this new career caring for others.

I currently hold a certificate in Lactation Education and Counseling from UCSD, am a Certified Lactation Counselor and also currently a Pathway 3 IBCLE candidate. In addition to lactation specific credentials I am pursuing my Master's Degree in Clinical Nutrition at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, focusing on the nutrition profile and dynamics of lactating parents and infants under 1year. I offer postpartum doula services, prenatal infant feeding classes and  postpartum planning visits, lactation consults under supervision of a mentor, and clinical nutrition evaluations for the breastfeeding dyad.
